About the RoleEffortless is looking for a skilled and client‑focused Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our clients' network infrastructure. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality managed services that meet or exceed SLA standards.
The ideal candidate not only has the technical and troubleshooting skills to perform the role, but they should also be comfortable serving as a leader in our company, pride themselves on providing excellent customer service, and have a high level of critical thinking skills.
Position DetailsSalary: $60,000 – $80,000 annually DOE
Location:
Remote with a preference for someone in/near Las Vegas, NV.
Travel:
Some travel required for special projects.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:00‑5:00 PST with 24/7 on‑call availability.

- Design, install, configure, and support network infrastructure for company and clients (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers).
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify issues using RMM and NMS tools.
- Respond to and resolve client network‑related tickets within defined SLAs.
- Implement network security measures, including firewalls, IPS/IDS, and endpoint protections.
- Perform network upgrades, patches, and scheduled maintenance with minimal client disruption. Assist with onboarding new clients and deploying network infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all client environments.
- Provide technical support for escalated network incidents.
- Collaborate with vendors and other teams to resolve issues and plan network projects.
- Provide after‑hours support as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience with Service Provider networking or general telecommunications experience
- CCNA or equivalent is required for this role.
- Advanced skills in root‑cause analysis, outage remediation, and preventative maintenance.
- Experience with cloud networking.
- Familiarity with scripting/automation (Power Shell preferred).
- Experience supporting VoIP systems and SD‑WAN.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks.
- Understanding of ITIL principles and incident management workflows.
- Effective oral and written communication; analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
