Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will support the GWPC Data Cleanup initiative, focusing on identifying, analyzing, and correcting data quality issues within the Guidewire Producer Center (GWPC).

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and governance standards are met.

• Analyze GWPC producer records to identify data quality issues, including duplicate records, invalid identifiers, and structural inconsistencies
• Develop and apply pattern‑based rules to correct data issues in batch processes
• Validate producer identifiers such as NPN and FEIN using national reference databases while ensuring regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with Guidewire development teams, operating unit (OU) representatives, and agency compliance teams to resolve data issues
• Document all data corrections and maintain accurate audit trails to support governance and compliance requirements
• Assist in defining and enhancing business rules and validation checks within the GWPC Producer Module

• Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis, transformation, and reporting
• Experience working with data quality and data governance frameworks
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment
• Experience working with Python, SQL, and Databricks
• Ability to work in a remote environment

• Experience supporting data cleanup or remediation initiatives in enterprise systems
• Familiarity with Guidewire or insurance‑related producer data
• Experience collaborating with compliance or regulatory teams
