Main Responsibilities- Partner with customers to design, develop and deploy impactful Gen AI and machine learning solutions—from scoping and data exploration to model development and production.
- Implement state‑of‑the‑art AI systems such as retrieval‑augmented generation, fine‑tuning pipelines, prompt‑engineering recipes and agentic workflows.
- Create augmented datasets and evaluation workflows to ensure model reliability, transparency and stakeholder trust.
- Build and nurture relationships with customer leadership to coordinate project delivery and promote Snorkel Flow usage.
- Collaborate with pre‑sales, solutions and product teams to map customer needs to existing capabilities, prioritize roadmap gaps and guide project setup.
- Standardize solutions across Applied AI Engineers and contribute to internal tooling and best practices.
- Educate stakeholders on quantitative capabilities, best‑practice approaches and optimal problem fits.
- Advocate for customers’ needs in new AI paradigms and convey this feedback to product teams.
- Conduct enablement workshops for customers via one‑to‑one or one‑to‑many sessions.
- Travel up to 25% annually to support client engagements.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a comparable field.
- 3+ years of customer‑facing experience building AI/ML solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python with experience in modern libraries (pydantic, mypy, pytest, poetry, FastAPI, msgspec, Ray, Airflow).
- Expertise across the Applied AI stack, including scikit‑learn, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, FAISS, pandas, Spark, Chroma, Weaviate, Llama Index, Lang Graph and CrewAI.
- Track record of leading strategic, customer‑facing initiatives that drive business outcomes.
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple projects.
All offers include base salary, variable compensation and equity via employee stock options. Compensation ranges are determined by role, level and location; individual pay is based on experience, skills and location.
