These are your key tasks:

• Manage (Azure & AWS) cloud environments in accordance with company guidelines.
• Collaborate with our engineering and product teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions.
• Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for areas under responsibility, by responding to incidents and service requests.
• Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and continuously optimise cloud solutions in the area of cloud computing, storage, backup, infrastructure as a code, automation and other cloud related technologies, for FIFA’s corporate and event environments.
• Designing, building and managing highly secure, scalable and available architectures.
• Participation in cross departmental projects as cloud expert.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

• Minimum of 8 years overall IT experience and minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven track‑record in managing complex Azure and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience migrating workloads from On‑premises to the cloud.
• Experience in the Sports industry is an advantage.
• University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Azure and AWS certifications preferred.
• In depth understanding of Azure and AWS services.
• Experience using Azure Dev Ops and other Dev Ops tools.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as a code using Terraform is a must.
• Experience in Automating Infrastructure deployment.
• Strong Power Shell scripting skills.
• Familiarity with database services.
• Ability to anticipate, identify and define problems, as well as excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent planning, documentation, and organisational skills.
• Keen to learn new technologies and adaptable to constant changes.
• Social and team player.
