We are looking for experienced Platform Engineers to join our team following continuous growth and success in the NNCC (National Network Cyber Centre) team.

Core Experience & Skills

Applicants should demonstrate  most  of the following experience to be considered:

Kubernetes :
Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting workloads in Kubernetes environments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :
Working knowledge of at least  some  of the following:
Ansible, Helm, Terraform – used to manage infrastructure repeatably and reliably.

Containerisation :
Solid understanding of  Docker , with experience building, deploying, and managing containerised applications.

CI/CD Pipelines :
Experience designing or maintaining build and release pipelines using tools such as  Jenkins , Git Hub Actions, or similar platforms.

Operating Systems :
Proficiency in  Linux  environments, including scripting in  Bash  and/or  Python  for automation and tooling.

Open Source Technologies :
Familiarity with tools like  Kafka ,  Elasticsearch ,  Grafana , or  Prometheus  for logging, monitoring, and streaming use cases.

Version Control :
Proficient in using  Git  for source code management, including branching strategies and code reviews.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Candidates meeting the core requirements will stand out if they also have experience with any of the following:

Cloud Platforms :
Practical use of cloud services, particularly  AWS , with exposure to services like EC2, S3, IAM, EKS, etc.

Virtualisation :
Exposure to virtualisation platforms such as  Proxmox  or  VMware  in lab or production environments.

Agile Environments :
Comfortable working as part of a team using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
