Senior SAP Basis Administrator (T4) – Remote

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Administrator to manage, optimize, and support SAP environments on-premise and in the cloud.

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (S/4
  
  HANA, ECC, BW/4
  
  HANA, Solution Manager, PI/PO, etc.).
• Manage client copies, system refreshes, transport management, performance tuning, and user administration.
• Monitor system health, logs, and jobs to ensure optimal performance.
• Support SAP systems hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including VPCs, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint architecture.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to ensure secure connectivity between on‑prem and cloud.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancement packs, support packs, and kernel upgrades; ensure minimal downtime through effective cutover planning.
• Conduct regression testing and validation post‑upgrade.
• Support integration of BTP services with on‑premise and cloud SAP systems; ensure security, connectivity, and performance of BTP‑based applications.
• Manage SAP authorizations, roles, and profiles; ensure compliance with security standards (IAM, SSO, certificates, GDPR, SOX, etc.).
• Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Manage system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues across SAP applications, DBs, and OS layers.
• Collaborate with functional/technical teams for smooth operations.

• 10+ years in SAP Basis.
• Extensive experience installing, configuring, and maintaining SAP systems.
• Strong knowledge of transport management, performance tuning, and user administration.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in cloud concepts: VPCs, storage, backup, disaster recovery, endpoint architecture.
• Experience with SAP BTP integration and security.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
