As a Remote IT Technician
, you'll be the go-to expert ensuring that our clients IT systems run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting
:
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients via remote access and support tools. - System Maintenance & Upgrades
:
Monitor system performance, apply updates, and ensure optimal security configurations. - User Assistance & Training
:
Provide guidance to end-users on best practices, system functionalities, and troubleshooting techniques. - Incident Response
:
Identify and address IT incidents swiftly to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. - Documentation & Reporting
:
Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and configurations for future reference. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement IT projects and enhancements efficiently. - Cybersecurity Best Practices
:
Ensure compliance with security protocols, troubleshoot vulnerabilities, and assist with data protection measures.
We're looking for an IT pro who brings technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first approach
. Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience
:
Minimum of 3 years in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration. - Technical Proficiency
:
Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments; networking (VPNs, firewalls, TCP/IP); and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace). - Troubleshooting Skills
:
Ability to diagnose and resolve IT issues remotely, using various support tools and techniques. - Certifications (Preferred, Not Required):
CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar. - Excellent Communication
:
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and friendly manner. - Time Management
:
Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple support tickets efficiently. - Remote Work Experience
:
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote role.
