Senior Dev Ops Engineer
The company is located in Reston, VA and will remain 100% remote.
What You Will Be Doing:- Lead and contribute to automation initiatives, setting technical direction and best practices
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code and Compliance as Code across AWS environments
- Build self-service automation and tooling to reduce operational friction and manual work
- Develop systems that support self-healing and self-diagnosing infrastructure
- Automate monitoring, metrics collection, and performance analysis
- Produce clear, technical documentation for both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Balance and execute across multiple concurrent initiatives with minimal supervision
Skills & Experience:
- Strong Linux systems engineering background
- Proficiency in Shell or Python scripting
- Hands‑on experience automating AWS infrastructure using Boto3, AWS CLI, or similar
- Strong Ansible experience for configuration management and orchestration
- Proven ability to troubleshoot Linux systems, analyze logs, and perform root‑cause analysis
- Deep familiarity with AWS services and architectures
- AWS Dev Ops Engineer or Solutions Architect Associate certification preferred
