Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, hybrid role for a Solution Consultant at Renaissance Tech, specializing in CPQ software configuration and implementation. The Solution Consultant plays a critical role in customer success and service delivery by leading the design, configuration, and deployment of CPQ solutions that support complex product and pricing requirements.
This position is responsible for developing deep expertise in CPQ platforms, leading customer workshops and training sessions, configuring and enhancing product models, and delivering custom solutions for customer projects. The Solution Consultant works closely with customers, internal delivery teams, and the office of project management to align project objectives, priorities, and timelines.
As a customer-facing role, this position requires professionalism in communication, presentation, work ethic, and appearance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the implementation of CPQ and product configuration solutions
- Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and translate business needs into CPQ functionality
- Configure and enhance product models, pricing logic, and business rules
- Support and upgrade existing customer CPQ solutions
- Partner with internal teams to design and deliver scalable configuration solutions
- Deliver customer-facing training sessions and solution workshops
- Coordinate project objectives, timelines, and priorities with project management
- Maintain responsive, professional communication with customers throughout project execution
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in an analytical field such as MIS, Computer Science, logistics, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead customer-facing workshops and presentations
- Comfortable working in a consulting, client-facing environment
- Ability to travel up to 25% per month for domestic customer engagements
- CPQ experience or knowledge is a strong plus
