IT Asset Management I (SECRET) – No Remote Work
Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Colorado Springs, CO – ON SITE (NO REMOTE WORK)
Spry Squared is looking for an IT Asset Management I to support our client project in Colorado Springs. This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your IT asset management career while contributing to mission success in a high-impact environment. The position requires a US citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance and up to 10% travel. On-site work takes place around the Colorado Springs area;
remote work is not supported.
- Work with the Project Manager and On-site IT Asset Management Lead to conduct on-site IT asset audits (workstations, laptops, switches, phones, etc.)
- Reconcile asset inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for IT hardware, partnering with Property, Purchasing, Asset Management, and Digital Receiving teams to create and maintain configuration products
- Collaborate across teams to refine IT asset processes, procedures, and documentation
- Update CMDB (e.g., Service Now) with missing asset information
- Perform other duties as needed
- Minimum of 2 years of general IT experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with Service Now (a plus)
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (no benefits)
