Overview
We’re seeking a highly motivated 3D Geospatial Specialist to join our Digital Delivery team, with a focus on enabling early-phase master planning through advanced geospatial tools and workflows. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about digital transformation in the built environment. The opportunity is available in the United States, with preference for proximity to a Jacobs U.S. office.
Basepay range
$92,000.00/yr - $/yr
The base salary range for this position is $92,000.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Responsibilities- Configure and manage geospatial tools for early master planning workflows
- Develop and maintain 3D GIS models to support spatial analysis and scenario planning
- Extract, clean, and visualize geospatial data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with planning and design teams to integrate geospatial insights into project strategies
- Lead digital execution during early project phases and ensure smooth handoff to downstream teams
- Document workflows and provide training/support to team members as needed
- Manage and maintain shared coordinates in the Revit ecosystem based on Civil 3D design models
- Proven experience with ArcGIS, City Engine, Civil 3D, Autodesk Forma, Esri and/or other geospatial or BIM tools
- Strong background in 3D GIS modeling, spatial analysis, and data extraction
- Familiarity with urban planning, infrastructure, or early design workflows
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify digital opportunities
- Excellent communication, leadership and documentation skills
- Experience with scripting (Python, Dynamo), cloud platforms, or interoperability between GIS and BIM
