Role Overview

As a Senior Data Scientist, Strategy we partner with senior executives to influence high‑level company direction through data. You will own analyses, build causal models, write SQL, and explain findings in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior executives and business leaders
• Explore abstract questions and find answers in imperfect data
• Communicate insights clearly to C‑level stakeholders
• Deliver high‑quality code and effective documentation
• Build and maintain analytical assets (SQL, Python, dbt, Hex, experimentation platforms)
• Perform time‑series modeling, forecasting, and identify causal relationships

Qualifications

• Top 1 % written and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with C‑level executives.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with large, event‑driven datasets.
• Strong working familiarity with analytical and statistical techniques for general analysis, time series modeling, forecasting and identifying causal relationships.
• Familiarity with common analytics concepts (funnels, retention, cohort analysis, experiment design).
• Ability to partner with business leaders and turn questions into structured analysis.
• History of writing easy‑to‑follow code and effective documentation for projects.
• Experience with dbt, Hex, and experimentation platforms is a plus.

Additional Desired Experience

• Investment banking, private equity or top tier management consulting.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and helping users solve issues.
• Curiosity about machine learning workflows and terminology.

Compensation

Base salary range: $165,000 to $242,000. Additional compensation includes discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Work Environment
