Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer on a contract basis with deep technical expertise in automation, strong programming fundamentals, and hands‑on experience in modern Dev Ops environments. The ideal candidate is capable of leading testing strategy, building scalable automation frameworks, and influencing quality across the entire engineering organization. Experience with AI-driven testing or AI-enabled systems is a strong plus.

This job expects to pay about $60 – $75 per hour plus benefits

• Build and maintain UI & API automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium
  .
• Write high-quality test code in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/Type Script.
• Develop integration, end-to-end, and contract/API testing (REST, Graph
  
  QL).
• Contribute to performance, reliability, and basic security testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops).
• Use observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana) to debug and diagnose issues.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and SRE to define test strategies and quality standards.
• Mentor QA engineers and support process improvements.

• 5–8+ years’ experience in QA engineering.
• Senior-level automation expertise using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium. Must have a strong ability to handle both UI and API automation.
• Strong programming ability in at least one major language (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/Type Script)
• Must have CI/CD and Dev Ops integration experience including CI/CD pipelines, using Docker/containers, and supporting automated, reliable deployments across modern Dev Ops environments.
• Solid understanding of testing strategies, best practices, and quality metrics
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Nice to Have: Experience testing AI systems or using AI-driven automation tools
