Systems Engineer, Cloud Computing
Location: Town of Poland
We are seeking an experienced Python Engineer with strong Kubernetes expertise to help mature our product, roll out new releases, and prepare for a seamless transition to our run team. This role is critical in ensuring our development environments are robust, scalable, and ready for future growth.
This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in Poland — whether from home or from one of our well‑equipped offices in Gdańsk, Katowice, Kraków, Łódź, Warsaw, or Wrocław.
Responsibilities- Architect, develop, and deploy software solutions — including Infrastructure as Code — to enhance the stability, scalability, availability, and performance of our development environments
- Application development on Kubernetes: design, build, and deploy containerized solutions to meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain the OPA (Open Policy Agent) policy engine, using Rego to define and manage OPA policies
- Implement and support modern authentication flows (SAML, OAuth
2.0, OIDC) and federation services - Manage and configure Keycloak IDP services, as well as LDAP structure and services
- Support cross‑domain identity management via SCIM
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting customer experience; implement automation and preventive measures based on root cause analysis
- Develop, maintain, and optimize tooling and scripts to automate routine operational tasks
- Conduct technical research, feasibility studies, and provide consultancy on technology choices and engineering processes
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of assigned services, ensuring continuous operation and reliability
- Manage all branches within the DT environment, including branch naming conventions and tagging
- Support team members with code merges into master and facilitate smooth CI/CD workflows
- Implement robust monitoring solutions for system health and performance; respond to and resolve outages as needed
- Participate in on‑call rotations and serve as an escalation point for critical incidents
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with application development on Kubernetes (CKAD is a must)
- In‑depth knowledge of modern authentication flows (SAML, OAuth
2.0, OIDC) and federation services - Experience with Keycloak IDP services, LDAP structure, and LDAP services
- Familiarity with cross‑domain identity management via SCIM
- Ability to explore, reverse engineer, and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Passion for hardware with flexibility to work in cloud environments
