Principal IS Applications Analyst – Providence

Our enterprise information services organization is seeking a strategic technology leader to architect, build, and optimize custom applications that power critical systems across the Providence health system. The role spans ERP, Epic, Revenue Cycle, HR, and Supply Chain, and requires a blend of deep technical expertise, visionary leadership, and collaboration with business stakeholders to deliver smarter, faster, and more efficient solutions.

Hybrid on-site and remote work up to 65 miles daily from the Providence Valley Office Park – Renton, WA.

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of custom applications that support core business processes.
• Manage complex technology projects, from assessment to implementation, ensuring project plans, schedules, and resources are defined, documented, and delivered.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements that elevate care across the organization.
• Mentor and coach rising talent, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with security and quality standards for all implemented software solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a business systems analyst or similar role supporting enterprise information technology infrastructure.

• 5+ years of deep business knowledge within enterprise application domains.
• 5+ years of project or product management experience with toolkits and delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with Agile, Epic, iManage, or legal, risk, and compliance technology environments is advantageous.
