We are seeking a mid-level Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on investment and reference data. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, supporting data quality, system workflows, and production processes across investment platforms. The ideal candidate understands investment instruments, data life cycles, and how data moves across front-, middle-, and back-office systems.

• Act as a business systems analyst supporting investment and reference data platforms, serving as a primary point of contact between business users and technology teams.
• Analyze end-to-end data flows, understanding how investment data is sourced, transformed, and consumed across multiple systems.
• Support and maintain reference data for multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, futures, and options.
• Respond to daily requests from trading, compliance, operations, and reporting teams, including time-sensitive production issues.
• Write and execute SQL queries to analyze data issues, validate workflows, and support root-cause analysis.
• Monitor, enhance, and define data quality controls and exception reporting.
• Gather and document business requirements for new data fields, datasets, and workflow changes; partner with developers to design, test, and implement solutions.
• Perform production support and troubleshooting, ensuring data accuracy and system stability.
• Participate in Agile development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and representing business priorities.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance data quality, controls, and operational efficiency.

• 3 years experience working with investment platforms ideally Aladdin OR comparable systems (Bloomberg, PACE, Charles River, Calypso).
• 3–8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role within investment management or financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment instruments, particularly fixed income and derivatives.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries and analyzing relational data.
• Experience working with investment platforms such as Aladdin or comparable systems (Bloomberg, PACE, Charles River, Calypso).
• Proven experience supporting front- and back-office stakeholders in a production environment.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

• Experience using Python for data analysis, automation, or workflow support.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data modeling, and data governance.
• Experience with Eagle PACE or similar accounting/reference data platforms.
• Prior experience working in Agile or Scrum-based development environments.
