Service Now Sales Order Management Architect Remote Position
Job Summary:
Client is seeking a highly skilled Service Now Sales Order Management Architect with deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions within the Service Now platform, with a particular focus on Sales Order Management. The ideal candidate will also possess strong working knowledge and integration experience with SAP Entitlement Management System (EMS), enabling end-to-end alignment between entitlement creation, order fulfillment, and customer lifecycle management.
- Lead the architecture and design of Sales Order Management solutions within the Service Now platform.
- Define and implement robust integrations between Service Now and SAP EMS, ensuring seamless data flow for entitlements, contracts, and fulfillment processes.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions that align with IT and business strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Ops, Finance, Customer Success, IT, and Product teams.
- Define solution architecture diagrams, data models, integration patterns, and API specifications.
- Support the end-to-end implementation lifecycle: requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, development oversight, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Optimize and automate order-to-cash processes, entitlement validation, and contract execution workflows.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, security guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Service Now developers and junior architects.
- Stay current with new Service Now and SAP EMS features, roadmap items, and industry trends.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise IT solutions with 5+ years specifically in Service Now, including at least 3 years as an architect.
- Proven expertise in Service Now Sales Order Management, Customer Service Management (CSM), or ITBM/ITSM modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP Entitlement Management System (EMS) and its data models, rules framework, and integration capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience designing or implementing integrations between Service Now and SAP (via APIs, middleware, iPaaS, etc.).
- Solid understanding of order-to-cash, quote-to-cash, and entitlement management business processes.
- Experience with Service Now’s Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API).
- Familiarity with middleware platforms such as Mule Soft, Client Boomi, or SAP PI/PO is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to document and present architectural solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
