Senior Backend Engineer; Fully Remote

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team  will take ownership of designing and implementing backend architecture, building scalable services, and managing deployments/Dev Ops. This is a standalone role — you’ll be expected to work autonomously with little supervision, driving projects end-to-end.

While prior experience in AI, machine learning, or computer vision is not required, it will be considered a strong advantage.

• Design and implement backend architecture for scalable and secure systems.
• Build APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
• Manage deployments and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
• Work independently, taking ownership of technical decisions and solutions.

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (senior-level).
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages:
  Python (Django, FastAPI, Flask) – preferred;
  Node.js, Go, or Java – also highly valued.

• Solid understanding of databases (SQL and No
  
  SQL), APIs, and microservices.
• Hands‑on Dev Ops experience:
  Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Background in AI, computer vision, or machine learning product development.

• Experience with GPU-based deployments (CUDA, Tensor
  
  RT, etc.).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
