The Lead CRM Developer plays a critical role in leading the enhancement and optimization of our Salesforce environment. Their primary responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of high-quality technical solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet the evolving needs of the university. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders, including the CRM Administrator team, to design, code, test, and deploy Salesforce applications and integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
They will lead and mentor the CRM Developer team.

Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and limitations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of and proficiency in the use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex requirements into functional architecture.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of leadership practices
- Prior working experience in Salesforce development, including custom application development in , Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and integration with external systems.
- Considerable experience with Onmi Studio, Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP services, and data migration.
- Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I/II) or equivalent work experience
- Considerable experience with advanced Salesforce features such as Einstein Analytics, CPQ, and Pardot.
- Some knowledge of Agile development methodologies and deployment practices.
- Some experience with Salesforce Communities and Education Cloud is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of the unique needs and challenges in the higher education sector.
This is a remote position, requiring a traditional 40-hour work week. Computer equipment will be supplied; high speed internet is the responsibility of the employee. The equipment provided to staff with approved telework agreements enables them to deliver vital services to University faculty, staff, and students from remote locations. Many of our operations can and should continue as usual, even when the main physical campus is closed.
Therefore, all Division of Transformation & Technology employees with an approved telework agreement are generally expected to work during official University closures.
