Position: Associate Support Engineer (EMEA)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Support a mix of Self-managed and  (SaaS) customers by resolving technical issues through various communication channels
  • Troubleshoot complex production environments by analyzing Linux systems, application logs, and Git Lab configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build new features, fix bugs, and define product goals and strategies
  • Create and update documentation based on customer interactions to improve self-service and reduce repeat issues
  • Contribute to the Git Lab codebase by proposing and implementing merge requests that resolve customer problems
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Experience managing customer-facing support cases from inquiry to resolution
  • Practical familiarity with Linux systems, including administration and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and write simple scripts, with exposure to scripting languages like Ruby or Bash
  • Basic understanding of Git workflows and source control concepts
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical topics clearly to individuals with varying technical knowledge
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Development, and Customer Success
  • Openness to learning new tools and diving into code and logs to improve support processes
