SAP Logistics and Finance- (Remote

24 month contract

Job Description:

· The day to day operational support (level 2/3) is provided by the De Beers AMS partner. Manage any escalations from business to timely resolution with the De Beers AMS partner;

· For Enhancements, work with the De Beers business stakeholders to complete business requirement document (BRD) and ensure that the appropriate level of detail has been included;

· Obtain appropriate approvals from business prior to submitting BRD to De Beers AMS partner for an estimate;

· Manage the BRD with the AMS partner through the entire cycle. This includes the following :

o Reviewing the functional design spec and estimate provided by the AMS; partner to ensure that the solution will meet the requirements identified by the business and to challenge the approach/estimate;

o Manage the AMS partner to deliver on contract SLAs (estimate);

o Manage the UAT with the business;

o Manage the governance of changes that are being moved into SAP; production.

Note:

AMS partner does the functional configuration for support, enhancements and projects. The De Beers SAP AMS Manager needs to have a strong knowledge of configuration to be able to challenge the approach that is being recommended by the AMS partner.

· Manage and co-ordinate project work;

· Project manages/co-ordinates all tasks and the management/facilitation of IT support and continuous service delivery of the SAP solution, by the outsourced service provider or external vendor;

· Day to day interaction with various stakeholders including customers in the various business units and IT service providers, liaising with colleagues across all sections of the Global IM department;

· Maintains the customer service focus thus ensuring that the provisioning of services meet the needs of the business;

· Drive ongoing meetings with key business stakeholders to discuss status on enhancements, projects and opportunities for improvements i.e. weekly/monthly;

· Manage a team of internal resources for the different business functions and processes.

Experience:

· 6 + years of SAP ERP Management

· 2+ years of SAP AMS management

Experience in following essential:

· SAP Finance & Logistics

· SAP Solution Delivery Management;

· Experience working with an AMS partner;

· Business Process, Analysis and Design;

· Business Process Support;

· Project management;

· The following experience/certification would be advantageous:

o SAP certification;

o Experience with Business Intelligence tools; and

o S/4 HANA

Experience in following essential:
