As our Senior Director of Platform Engineering, you’ll be instrumental in defining and managing the Ninja One platform. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll shape the evolution of the Ninja One Platform—guiding how we build, scale, and deliver our products to customers around the world. We're looking for a strategic, execution-focused leader with deep experience delivering software at scale, a passion for exceptional customer experiences, and a strong track record of platform innovation.

We are flexible on remote working from home if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WA. We have physical offices in Austin, TX and Tampa, FL, if you prefer a hybrid option.

Ninja One is built on Java, Kotlin, C++, Golang and Postgres, supporting millions of user endpoints and running as a scalable cloud service in AWS. Knowing large‑scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client‑server architecture will help you.

• Be our subject matter expert for all things Cloud and Platform related at Ninja One.
• Collaborate with our Development, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, IT, Compliance, and Security teams to manage, develop and grow existing Platform to deliver Ninja One products globally.
• Contribute to the strategy on market positioning, identify appropriate architectural concepts needed to expand globally and improve resiliency of the Ninja One product portfolio.
• Own product requirements to ensure features needed to scale Ninja One products globally are prioritized with Product Management.
• Ensure customer confidence in Ninja One by designing and building robust services to meet Ninja One Service Level Agreements.
• Manage and grow Platform team to support the needs of Ninja One’s products.
• Ensure the governance and commitment to compliance frameworks such as ISO 270001, SOX, SOC‑2, NIST 800‑53 rev 5 and more.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive efficiency in our SDLC process.
• Help manage and mitigate runaway costs in our Cloud Infrastructure.
• Other duties as needed.

• 10+ years of experience as a Dev Ops, SRE, IT Systems Engineer within a product organization.
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD concepts, Cloud IaaS, Development frameworks, and integrating off‑the‑shelf tools to enable scale of SaaS products.
• 3+ years’ experience working in Federal or Gov Cloud environments.
• Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally in fast‑paced product organizations with development first mindset.
• Hands‑on experience leading/growing/managing Dev Ops/SRE/IT Systems Engineering teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Innovative and creative, comfortable with ambiguity and charting new territories and tackling new initiatives.
• Strong technical knowledge, and a knack for solving complex problems with simple solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred.
