Are you passionate about improving the developer experience and shaping the foundation for secure, scalable software delivery? As Product Lead for our Internal Developer Platform (IDP), you'll play a key role in designing and evolving a modern, self-service platform that empowers our engineering teams and enforces a robust Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).

You’ll work closely with experienced platform engineers to create a highly automated, secure, and developer-friendly environment — with a strong focus on infrastructure-as-code, observability, and Dev Sec Ops  principles.

The Platform Unit delivers measurable business impact by enabling faster time-to-market, reducing development costs, and improving product quality through scalable and reusable services & components.

We provide the technical means to develop entirely new product classes.

The unit consists of a team of highly motivated software engineers focused on cutting-edge, security-focused technologies and a Dev Sec Ops  platform that supports the entire lifecycle of our products. This is a dynamic and evolving team, offering exciting challenges and opportunities for growth.

• Take full product ownership of our Internal Developer Platform — from vision to implementation and operation
• Design and evolve a secure, scalable self-service platform that enables our engineering teams to move faster and safer
• Collaborate closely with developers, security, and product mangers to understand their needs and translate them into platform features
• Engage customers and use their feedback to continually improve the product direction
• Influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions to advance our products’ success inside secunet
• Identify and confirm needs inside the organisation to come up with new products
• Interface with business and engineering to ensure the continuous success of our products
• Capture, document, and communicate business and technical product requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Program Manager in a Dev Ops, Platform, or Infrastructure setting
• Strong technical understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and security
• You’re familiar with the needs of modern software engineers — and know how to turn those into actionable platform capabilities
• Hands-on experience with Internal Developer Platforms or related tooling is a big plus
• Bonus points if you're familiar with Nix/NixOS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git Ops, or Rust
• You’re structured, pragmatic, and a great communicator — fluent in both technical and stakeholder conversations
• You thrive in cross-functional environments and care deeply about creating real value for engineers
