IT Business Analyst; General ; Remote

Overview

FIDES is seeking an IT Business Analyst (General IT Applications) to support intake, evaluation, and administration of enterprise business applications. This role will partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to assess new technology requests, support application governance and cybersecurity reviews, and provide reporting support for Infor Lawson users as well as ongoing administration of niche applications such as Fast Pass and EdAssist.

• Support the intake, review, and prioritization of new application requests, including cybersecurity and technology assessments.
• Provide application administration and end-user support for a portfolio of niche business applications (e.g., Fast Pass, EdAssist, and others).
• Partner with IT Security and Governance teams to ensure compliance for new technology and vendor requests.
• Assist Infor Lawson users with ad-hoc reporting needs and collaborate with ERP teams to deliver reporting solutions.
• Document processes, workflows, and decision outcomes to support application governance.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and ensure alignment of application solutions with business needs.
• Escalate vendor issues as needed and coordinate with internal IT teams for resolution.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT business analysis, application administration, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of application intake, governance, and cybersecurity review processes.
• Experience supporting SaaS or niche applications (e.g., Fast Pass, EdAssist).
• Familiarity with Infor ERP reporting is a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
