Koniag Management Solutions is seeking an experienced Git Lab Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Git Lab solutions for our organization and clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Git Lab's complete Dev Ops platform who can translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Git Lab's CI/CD capabilities, security features, and enterprise-level implementations, with the ability to architect complete Dev Ops workflows.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The Git Lab Solutions Architect will serve as the technical authority on Git Lab implementations, providing expert guidance on architecture design, best practices, and strategic implementations. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient Git Lab solutions that meet business objectives and technical requirements. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Design and architect comprehensive Git Lab solutions that address business needs while adhering to best practices
• Create technical architecture documentation, including diagrams, workflows, and implementation plans
• Develop Git Lab implementation strategies including installation, configuration, and integration with other systems
• Guide teams on optimizing Git Lab CI/CD pipelines for efficiency, security, and compliance
• Provide expert consultation on Git Lab's capabilities across the entire Dev Ops lifecycle (Plan, Create, Verify, Package, Release, Configure, Monitor)
• Conduct technical assessments of existing Git Lab implementations and provide recommendations for improvements
• Design scalable Git Lab infrastructure solutions for enterprise environments
• Architect security controls and compliance measures within Git Lab implementations
• Create migration strategies for moving to Git Lab from other Dev Ops tools
• Develop custom solutions leveraging Git Lab APIs and integration capabilities
• Lead proof-of-concept implementations and technical demonstrations
• Collaborate with Dev Ops teams to implement Git Lab best practices
• Stay current with Git Lab product updates and new features to continually enhance solutions
• Provide technical mentorship and knowledge transfer to development and operations teams

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, software development, or systems engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Git Lab, including CI/CD, security features, and administration
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level Git Lab solutions
• Track record of successful technical architecture design and implementation

Competencies:

• Expert knowledge of Git Lab's complete Dev Ops platform and its components
• Deep understanding of Git Lab CI/CD capabilities, including advanced pipeline configurations
• Strong experience with Git Lab administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Knowledge of Git Lab security features (SAST, DAST, container scanning, dependency scanning)
• Experience with Git Lab's integration capabilities and API
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Git Lab deployment models
