The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring from start to finish the delivery of medium complexity projects on time and according to the negotiated Scope of Work. The Program Manager’s role is to manage a virtual team comprising Customer Contacts, Fortinet Sales, Professional Services and Technical Support to ensure a technically sound, financially profitable and supportable implementation. The position requires an individual with exceptional negotiation, written and verbal communication skills who follows a structured approach for implementing IT security solutions.

The Program Manager should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis.

• Builds strong relationships to understand the needs and requirements of the customer's projects.
• Manages the relationship with the customers and all stakeholders; develops, negotiates and builds a Scope of Work, WBS and project schedules to match the needs of the projects.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities, ensuring resource availability and allocation in alignment with project plans.
• Works closely with all customer‑facing Fortinet functions, including sales, operations, order management and support to coordinate activities.
• Coordinates internal resources and resources from outsourced parts of the projects (where applicable) for flawless execution.
• Ensures that all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and within budget.
• Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs; measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
• Reports and escalates to management as needed.
• Manages escalations with all levels internally and externally to achieve success.
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
• Effectively applies Fortinet’s methodology and enforces project standards.
• Performs risk management to minimize Fortinet’s exposure and risk on projects.
• Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables.
• Accurately forecasts revenue, profitability, margins, bill rates and utilization.
• Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
• Facilitates team and customer meetings effectively.
• Communicates difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

• About 5 years in a similar position.
• Technical understanding of security and networking projects.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.
• Outstanding negotiation, oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience working with global enterprises, MSSP, carrier and governmental customers.
• Experience working both independently and in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Flexibility during times of change.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and other departments.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills.
• Strong commitment and self‑driven individual.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or management discipline and/or equivalent work‑related experience.
• PMP and/or PRINCE II certification would be a plus.
