York Solutions is hiring an IoT Analyst to be part of a 2-year digital transformation journey within the Vascular Division, the Analyst will focus on building the foundation for Thing Worx IoT solutions. Partnering closely with the Boston-based R&D team, the Analyst will support the Digital Solutions organization in developing scalable applications that empower operations, strengthen commercial engagement, and enhance hospital interactions.

• Thing Worx Implementation & Support
  • Assist with the design, configuration, and deployment of Thing Worx applications to enable real-time data insights.
  • Develop dashboards, mashups, and workflows that support R&D, operations, and commercial use cases.
  • Ensure integration with existing enterprise systems to create a seamless digital ecosystem.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Boston R&D teams to understand product development needs and translate them into digital requirements.
  • Work with operations teams to implement solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and traceability.
  • Support commercial teams by developing digital tools that enhance customer engagement and field interactions.
• Hospital Engagement Support
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve hospital interactions, including data capture, reporting, and digital interfaces.
  • Act as a liaison between hospital stakeholders and internal teams to ensure solutions meet clinical and operational needs.
• Program Enablement & Roadmap Support
  • Support the Digital Solutions org in laying the groundwork for Abbott’s multi-year IoT roadmap.
  • Document requirements, workflows, and solution outcomes to ensure scalability and repeatability.
  • Help establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure the success of Thing Worx initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in business/system analysis, preferably in a regulated industry (medical devices, healthcare).
• Hands-on experience with IoT software (Thing Worx or similar) (configurations, mashups, dashboards, or integrations).
• Strong communication and documentation skills with ability to work across R&D, operations, commercial, and hospital stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Familiarity with MES, ERP, or PLM systems.
• Understanding of healthcare environments, hospital workflows, and customer-facing digital solutions.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, or scripting for IoT software customization.
• Experience supporting multi-year digital transformation programs.
