Project Manager, Data Science Manager, IT Project Manager

Arka Innovate is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Engagement Manager to lead a large‑scale BI/DW, AI/ML, and GenBI initiative
. This role requires oversight of a $20M+ project from initiation through delivery, ensuring business goals are met within scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate has deep public sector experience, strong data‑driven program leadership skills, and hands‑on exposure to modern analytics and AI technologies.

• 10+ years of experience in IT project/program management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Public Sector environments.
• Proven track record managing BI/DW, AI/ML, and GenBI projects in public sector environments.
• Experience leading projects with budgets of $20M or more

Technical & Domain Expertise:

• Strong understanding of BI/DW architecture
  , data governance
  , data modeling
  , and ETL processes
  .
• Familiarity with agentic AI
  , generative BI
  , and AI/ML model deployment in enterprise contexts.
• Hands‑on exposure to Power BI
  , AWS‑based data platforms
  , and enterprise data analytics tools.
• Strong ROI analysis
  , risk management
  , KPI framework development
  , and implementation roadmap skills.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage multiple vendor relationships.
• Strategic thinker with a delivery‑focused mindset and ability to navigate political/public sector dynamics.

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Data Analytics Specialty
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile equivalent
• Power BI Certification
