Job DescriptionThis is a remote position.
Overview :
• Understand data governance policies that company wants to implement
• Configure and maintain data catalogs
• Create data lineage between source system to target tables and also between reports and underlying tables
• Import metadata from Unity Catalog and sync between UC and Purview
• Create out of the box solutions using Python or related scripts for any requirements that can’t achieved through Purview
• Create workflow management processes
• Create business glossaries and increase adoption
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, data architecture, BI and data stewards
• Provide demo the business users
RequirementsRequired Skills :
- 5-8 years of Data Governance policy implementation experience using tools such as MS Purview (Mandatory), Collibra (optional), Informatica AXON / DG, Attacama
- 5-8 years of experience in data warehouse, datamart, Cloud data services such as ADF, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Cloud data storages (Azure SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Synapse etc., ) , BI tools like Power
BI, Tableau - 5-8 years of coding / programming experience using Python, Pyspark
