Sr. Systems Analyst - PLM- Remote

New York County, NY

• Ensures compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
• Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develops strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Works with AMS to ensure performance, security and compatibility of PLM systems and integrated authoring tools
• Updates job knowledge by studying state‑of‑the‑art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment
• Actively participates in teams representing inter/intra IT organizations
• Conducts research on hardware and software products to support recommendations and purchasing efforts
• Creates system design proposals, functional specifications, and test protocols for intended use (unit testing) including integrations and data migrations
• Documents solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Performs cost‑benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions
• Works with IT peers to support PLM integrations including but not limited to:
  Master Data, CAD, Distribution Systems, ERP’s, Manufacturing Applications
• Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected
• Supports PLM Operations with knowledge of Windchill vaulting, publishing, database, integrations, performance management and all System Administration Utilities

• Medical Device Industry experience preferred
• Windchill PTC Thingworx Application and Mash‑up Development experience
• Technical IT certifications preferred
