Remote Chemistry Specialist (PhD) – 34879
Be among the first applicants to contribute to AI research by testing and analyzing reasoning in large language models using chemistry problems and structured problem-solving tasks.
Responsibilities- Create chemistry problems and review how AI solves them.
- Analyze model responses to identify gaps in logic or understanding and provide constructive feedback with examples.
- Assess the model's ability to perform abstract thinking and structured problem-solving in chemistry-related scenarios.
- Develop reactor and process-related problems, evaluate outputs, and communicate insights clearly in a remote setting.
- Ph.D. or Postdoctoral degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field (or current pursuit of Ph.D.).
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
- Strong written communication, especially in remote settings.
- Comfortable working independently and with stable computer and internet access.
This position is open only to candidates who have completed or are currently pursuing a Ph.D.; applications that do not meet this criterion will not be considered.
Time Commitment & Contract Details- Commitments
Required:
at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours overlap with PST. Options: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week, or 40 hrs/week. - Engagement type:
Contractor assignment / freelancer (no medical/paid leave). - Duration: 1 month; expected start date next week.
Task-based assessment for shortlisted candidates, followed by a contract offer with defined timelines and workload.
