SkyePoint Decisions, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated team member to fill the role of a Governance Lead to join our team supporting the Department of Education's (DoED) Federal Student Aid (FSA) Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services (CPSS) in Washington, DC. FSA requires a Governance Lead to focus on achievement of and compliance with current and future cybersecurity mandates, including fulfilling supporting documentation requirements.

Remote position.

Responsibilities:

• FSA's governance and policy functions depend on accuracy, consistency, and a clear grasp of compliance mandates and their supporting documentation standards.
• Manage documentation, align policies, and oversee audit deliverables within the Enterprise Cybersecurity Group (ECG), with a focus on enhancing document control, streamlining workflows, and improving audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain a DoED Level 6C High Risk/Public Trust Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Over 15 years of experience in a technical documentation role supporting technology projects and programs for the federal government or large enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity policies, documentation management, and governance oversight for enterprise programs.
• Ensure that documentation, policy guidance, and reporting comply with federal standards (e.g., NIST, DHS, and OCIO) and support the ATO, SSA, and OSA processes.
• Expert familiarity with and understanding of all relevant government and agency policies and procedures is necessary to ensure system documentation complies with applicable guidelines, such as FedRAMP, FISMA, FIPS-2, and NIST.
• Experience with data analytics and executive-level report generation.
• Experience with DoED operational and documentation requirements, including but not limited to MSP-IT, FAM, DoS Enterprise Architecture, and related frameworks.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• FSA organization knowledge and experience.
