We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About

The Role

The customer applications team takes all internal team’s vertical development, including but not limited to hardware, firmware, core operating systems, middleware, infotainment, cloud — and integrates the Vehicle OS onto customer specific applications / platforms, making Vehicle OS and Vehicles do useful things together. We wear a few hats in the process:

At Applied Intuition, you will:

• Deliver full-system features that span software and hardware that meet customer requirements
• Directly interact with the customers to identify the target use-cases, then manage the project to complete the integration
• Work cross-functionally with the hardware and electrical teams to develop and ensure smooth integration and deployment on systems
• Work closely with the system engineering team on setting the right architecture and system design
• Deep understanding of how the software and hardware components interact
• Test and troubleshoot integration between various components to ensure reliability

• 2+ years of experience in software integration or development
• An understanding of electronic systems and how how to setup and debug them
• Experience with developing or testing software applications
• Software development experience in C/C++
• Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting

• Experience in the automotive industry and working with automotive technologies, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Simulink, AUTOSAR, etc
• Experience interacting with customers to deliver projects that meet their requirements
• Experience developing software for large projects (CI/CD, release process, etc)
• Familiarity with developing software for embedded systems
• Skills in other adjacent areas (CAD/3D printing, PCB design, etc)
