About the roleWe are seeking a QA engineer to build out the QA function ideal candidate has experience contributing to QA in fast-growing companies. Ideally the candidate has experience with both manual QA and QA automation though Playwright and can lead QA for our complex product where every change has a downstream effect on numerous interactions. Candidate needs to thrive in a rapidly changing startup environment.
Keyresponsibilities
- Automated testing
Actively build and maintain our E2E test suite (Playwright): this should test thousands of interactions in the application, big and small. We currently have hundreds of tests and want to create many more.
- Manual testing
Use Quadratic every day - continuously test the product manually to find gaps in our automated testing and identify bugs before they make it to users.
- AI evals
Contribute to creating frameworks and tests for continuous evaluation of our AI quality.
What we’re looking for- TS/JS competency.
- Track record of a detail-oriented mindset in QA for other software projects (or experience with detail oriented software work and a desire to switch to QA)
- Preference for experience with complex tools like IDEs, data science tools, spreadsheets, etc.
- Experience building and maintaining tests in Playwright
- Comfortable with spending hours every day using and testing Quadratic
- Demonstrated passion for sweating the details
