SAP Finance - Technical Lead

Overview

SAP Central Finance - Technical Lead (contract) role at KPMG US. This is a remote contractor position in the United States through KPMG Assignment Select for independent professionals on temporary or project-based work.

Resource with following skills and having at least 15-20 years of experience.

• Lead technology areas of SAP S/4
  
  HANA ABAP, Fiori, SLT, BTP, BASIS, Security, Technical Integrations and MDG.
• Coordinate with offshore team members across these areas to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Act as a technically hands-on resource with the ability to explore new/latest areas or innovations.
• Own and lead their own area with minimal guidance; engage in client interaction and present materials, co-create workshop materials with functional teams, and lead workshops during design and implementation of S/4
  
  HANA Central Finance projects.
• Write technical specifications and coordinate the development lifecycle for custom/RICEFW objects in SAP.
• Coordinate with Offshore teams for project activities and deliverables.
• Work with data work streams for data harmonization, data mapping, data validation and reconciliations across various SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Engage in integration with other modules and understand complexities of systems/tools used in Central Finance projects (e.g., SLT, MDG, AIF, Magnitude/Insightsoftware).
• Experience in technical integration of various systems through middleware components; SAP BTP development for custom objects and integration to SAP S/4
  
  HANA and other systems.
• Support data and technical aspects of Central Finance projects with strong inter-personal skills and teamwork; flexible for project-hour requirements.
• Ensure compliance with firm values and maintain professional work environment.

• Experience as SAP tech lead on multiple implementations (6-7 years).
• Designed and implemented at least 2-3 CFIN programs (4-5 years) as CFIN Technical Lead and Architect, with integrated SAP and non-SAP systems and knowledge of complex CFIN scenarios.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA ABAP development for various RICEFW and Fiori objects (onsite urgent development, quick fixes, etc.).
• Expert knowledge of SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation) for Central Finance (including AIF framework).
• Experience in technical integration of systems through middleware components and in SAP MDG for Central Finance.
• Experience in integration with BASIS and other technologies in central finance projects.
• Good knowledge of integration with other modules, especially SAP Financials and materials management.
• Strong data-related capabilities: data harmonization, data mapping (MAP MANAGE / Key and Value Mapping), data validation and reconciliations end-to-end.
• Experience in SAP BTP development (for custom objects) and integration to SAP S/4
  
  HANA and other systems.
• Experience with data work streams and ability to work with functional teams; strong client interaction and presentation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; no employment-based visa sponsorship is available.
