Role OverviewAs a Solutions Consultant, you will partner with frontier AI model creators who are making headline news every day, ensuring they achieve breakthrough value through our human data offerings. In this role, you will be the trusted advisor in the sales cycle, responsible for deeply understanding customers’ research needs, conducting platform demonstrations, managing proof‑of‑concept projects, scoping custom integrations, and articulating the technical value of Prolific’s offering.
What You’ll Bring- 4+ years in a customer‑facing strategic or enterprise solutions engineering/consulting role
- Strong understanding of API design, web technologies, data transfer/security protocols, and cloud architecture
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences (executives, researchers, developers, program managers)
- Ability to become an expert in the AI research industry and its techniques to understand how human feedback provides demonstrable value to models and outcomes
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and internal events
- Experience with proposals, information security standards, and alignment with technical buyers

Qualification:
Conduct deep discovery sessions with AI Researchers, technical program managers, and others to understand research workflows, pain points, requirements, and objectives - Tailored Demonstrations:
Design and deliver compelling, customized platform demonstrations and presentations that specifically address the customer’s unique research needs and clearly highlight the ROI and competitive advantages of Prolific - Sales Journey:
Work closely with Account Executives to partner throughout the sales/pre‑sales customer journey - Technical Expertise:
Act as the primary technical contact for the sales and success teams, addressing complex questions related to data security, privacy, platform architecture, API integrations, and participant quality - Proof of Concept Management:
Scope, execute, and document successful technical validation activities, including pilot projects and PoCs, ensuring a clear path to production adoption - RFP / Security Questionnaires:
Drive the completion of technical and security portions of RFPs, RFIs, and customer security questionnaires in collaboration with legal and engineering teams - Voice of the Customer:
Advocate for customer needs to internal stakeholders, including Product and Services, sharing signals and needs from customers to influence future strategic direction

For pay transparency, the base salary range for this full‑time role in San Francisco or New York is $160,000 – $220,000 per annum.
