The Platform Engineering team is the engine that powers Mambu's global banking workloads. We build and operate the core cloud platforms that handle billions of secure transactions across multiple regions. We are looking for a hands‑on Platform Engineer to help us build, automate, and scale the infrastructure that is changing the financial industry.

You will be a key contributor to our internal developer platform, empowering hundreds of engineers to build, ship, and run products with speed and confidence.

• Build and Evolve Core Infrastructure:
  Design, build, and maintain our core cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Terratest).
• Master Container Orchestration:
  Manage and scale our mission‑critical services on Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and resilience for our global banking workloads.
• Automate Everything:
  Enhance and operate our CI/CD systems and developer tools within a Git Lab‑based workflow, by using Golang, Python and enabling true self‑service for our product engineering teams.
• Drive Reliability and Efficiency:
  Implement best‑in‑class observability, monitoring, and governance practices to optimize platform performance and manage cloud costs effectively.
• Champion Secure‑by‑Design:
  Collaborate closely with Security, Architecture, and Product Engineering teams to embed security and compliance (SOC2, ISO
  27001, GDPR) into the DNA of our platform.
• Modernize and Migrate:
  Play a hands‑on role in migrating core workloads and infrastructure to modern, automated, cloud‑native environments.
• Improve Developer
  
  Experience:
  
  Contribute directly to our internal developer platform, creating a streamlined, simple, and powerful experience for Mambu engineers.

• 7 years of experience in a Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
• 5 years of experience in a Automation field with a Software Engineering mindset (Google SRE Way).
• Deep, hands‑on expertise with a major cloud provider (AWS and/or GCP).
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Proven experience building and operating containerized workloads using Kubernetes or equivalent orchestration technologies.
• Experience designing and managing robust CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab CI/CD is a major plus).
• Experience designing and implementing tooling and automation in Golang, Python (or similar) for offering the best Developer Experience in the Platform Engineering domain.
• A strong understanding of observability principles and experience with modern monitoring and logging tools.
• A security‑first mindset and familiarity with working in regulated, high‑compliance environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to thrive in a distributed, remote‑first team culture.

• Experience building and scaling platforms for high‑volume transactional systems.
• Familiarity with cloud cost management and performance optimization strategies.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or self‑service tooling.
