Our client is a multidisciplinary consulting firm trusted by leading names in the utilities and energy infrastructure space. They are seeking a Project Controls Analyst to bring precision, insight, and leadership to complex datacenter and capital projects. This hybrid role provides the flexibility of remote work with the impact of on-site collaboration.
What You’ll Be DoingCost & Schedule Management
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Build and track project schedules, including critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.
- Support project managers with earned value analysis, performance reporting, and change management tracking.
- Update resource- and cost-loaded schedules to ensure accurate allocation of budgets and manpower.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cost and schedule performance.
- Prepare and present data-driven reports for leadership, highlighting risks, variances, and actionable insights.
- Partner with project teams to ensure forecasts align with key project activities and milestones.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to company standards, procedures, and industry best practices in project controls.
- Maintain project documentation, cost tracking, and schedule archives to meet enterprise guidelines.
- 5+ years of direct experience in cost and schedule controls for large capital projects.
- Strong background working on datacenters or related industries such as utilities, energy infrastructure, manufacturing facilities, or large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency with project controls tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, cost management software).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (preferred).
