Join to apply for the Product Marketing Lead, GTM role at Stripe
About StripeStripe is a financial infrastructure platform that enables businesses—from the world’s largest enterprises to ambitious startups—to accept payments, grow revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we are building a global economy that’s accessible to everyone.
About the TeamThe GTM Product Marketing team is a champion for our customers and for Stripe GTM (sellers). We focus on three main areas: (1) deeply understanding our users, the markets, and our core product value propositions; (2) equipping sellers to pitch Stripe’s value and differentiation effectively; and (3) measuring the effectiveness of our programs using metrics such as deals signed, seller confidence, and time spent selling.
Whatyou’ll do
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing team of PMMs, establishing comprehensive GTM enablement strategies for Stripe’s product suite, including customer‑facing assets and AI‑based capabilities.
- Create compelling customer‑facing messaging and sales assets that differentiate Stripe in the market, collaborating closely with Product and Product Marketing teams to translate technical features into clear value propositions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends (e.g., agentic commerce, stable coins, global trade) to inform positioning and identify new market opportunities.
- Partner with Sales to develop tailored pitch decks, ROI calculators, product sheets, and other materials that highlight Stripe’s business value, while establishing governance and measurement practices for content effectiveness.
- Lead programs that prepare sellers for major product launch events, such as Stripe Sessions.
- Collaborate across Stripe to develop and launch AI tooling that supports sellers.
- 10+ years of product marketing experience, preferably with technical products and enterprise sales cycles.
- 5+ years of experience managing high‑performing teams with a proven record of building and leading cross‑functional groups.
- Builder mentality with a bias toward action and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills—able to translate complex, scattered information into clear, strategic narratives.
- Strong interpersonal and follow‑up skills, able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Comfort toggling between strategy and execution, managing both big‑picture goals and fine‑detail tasks.
- Deep understanding of sellers’ challenges, the sales cycle, and collaboration with GTM teams (SDs, CSM, TAM, SA, Pro Serve, etc.).
- Optimistic mindset and relentless pursuit of team goals.
- Experience with enterprise sales cycles and technical products.
- Proven comfort working with senior executives across a variety of disciplines.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with a test‑and‑learn mindset.
- Effective collaboration skills and a tendency to seek and value alternate views.
- Power user (and builder) of AI‑powered tooling for sellers.
