Data Engineer

Role:
Half-Time Data Engineer (50%) at Better Charge

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join Better Charge on a part-time basis (50%). This role involves designing and building a scalable analytical system, processing large volumes of data, implementing ETL and automation processes, and delivering end-to-end solutions to make data accessible, reliable, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build smart data pipelines and automation processes.
• Deliver end-to-end data solutions that meet business needs.
• Define data requirements and design system architectures.
• Develop and optimize data models.
• Implement business logic within data processes.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization.

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing data warehouse and BI solutions using industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with analytical databases (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), ETL tools, and data transformation tools (e.g., DBT, Data Form).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
