As a Data Scientist at Stord, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions in areas like demand forecasting, network modeling, pricing analytics, and transit time calculations. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to integrate your models into our platform and drive measurable impact.

* What You’ll Do:

***** Design, develop, and implement ML algorithms and statistical models to enhance our platform and optimize key operational metrics.
* Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
* Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
* Collaborate with Engineering and SRE to ensure reproducibility, scalability, and reliability of your models.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ML solutions into our platform and drive adoption.
* Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences, effectively presenting findings and recommendations.
* Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ML technologies and continuously improve model performance.

* What You’ll Need:

***** A strong background in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience as an ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role, with a focus on AI/ML applications.
* Advanced programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks like Tensor Flow or PyTorch.
* Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas and Num Py.
* Strong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Preferred Qualifications:

***** Master's degree in a relevant field.
* Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry.
