Medical Science Liaison - Territory

Job Description

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Amneal’s Central Territory (CO, MO, KS, NE, UT, WY, , MT) is a field‑based professional with scientific, clinical, and therapeutic area expertise. The role provides medical and scientific support for Amneal’s marketed products, new indications for current products, and compounds in development. The MSL engages in scientific exchange with medical and scientific experts, including healthcare professionals and managed markets customers across the assigned states.

This is a field‑based role, located in the Central US area. Candidates may be living in any state within the territory listed as this is a remote/field‑based position.

• Develop peer‑level relationships with medical and scientific experts, including healthcare professionals and managed markets customers.
• Deliver appropriate clinical and scientific information that distinguishes Amneal products; provide clinical support and deliver data presentations regionally and nationally.
• Provide actionable information that enhances the value and appropriate use of Amneal products to internal stakeholders.
• Respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of Amneal products and services.
• Train and mentor within therapeutic area, providing performance guidance and coaching.

• Adhere to internal standard processes and comply with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Sustain expertise in disease state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape.
• Demonstrate project leadership and management in and across field team and therapeutic area.

• Doctorate degree (PhD, Pharm
  
  D, MD) in biological sciences (neuroscience preferred), pharmacology, pharmacy or medicine. – Required

• 5 years or more in biological sciences, pharmacology, medicine or the equivalent industry experience focused on Parkinson’s disease (preferred).

• Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences. – Intermediate

• Experience in pharmaceutical industry. – Intermediate

• Knowledgeable on using resources for accessing scientific and clinical information.
• Knowledgeable on using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Remote work with frequent travel required.
• 60–70% field work: travel to meet HCPs, attend conferences, or support clinical sites.
• 20–30% remote work: virtual meetings, data analysis, content review.

Salary
: $160,000 to $180,000 per year, with a short‑term incentive opportunity such as a bonus or performance‑based award within the first 12 months. Compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant factors.
