Job Title: NOC Manager
Summary:
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager is overall responsible for the group wide IT infrastructure and network operations, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization. This role will directly manage a team of 10-12 resources mainly within the infrastructure and network vertical. The NOC Manager will work collaboratively with Group CIO to achieve the organization's goals and objectives and ensure the successful implementation, maintenance, and support of all IT systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline.
- IT industry certifications in Microsoft Technologies, Unix/ Solaris, ITIL, CISSP/ CISM, or similar.
- Hands-on Experience with Network, Server Infrastructure, Office 365 administration, Cloud Migrations, Dev Ops, Firewalls, End point Security/EDR, Helpdesk.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing teams responsible for IT infrastructure, applications, and security.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Unix Server Platforms, Enterprise Storage systems, Backup and Business Continuity processes, and Data and Voice networks.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including building and managing data centres and managing DR activities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders both within and outside of IT.
- Fluent in verbal and written communication in the English language.
