We are looking for a skilled Solr Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage Solr search infrastructure that powers our applications. You will be responsible for optimizing search performance, managing cluster health, and ensuring scalability and reliability of Solr environments.

• Design, deploy, and maintain Apache Solr clusters in production environments.
• Implement indexing, query tuning, relevancy ranking, and schema design.
• Monitor and optimize Solr performance, scaling, and reliability.
• Automate Solr setup, upgrades, and backups using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate Solr with APIs and applications.
• Troubleshoot search issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Solr (Solr Cloud, Zookeeper, shards, replicas).
• Knowledge of Java or Python for Solr client integration and tooling.
• Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Lucene, or other search platforms (optional).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Understanding of indexing large-scale data and optimizing search relevance.
