Project Manager – Business Change Practice

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to manage the delivery of projects, initiate and manage delivery controls, provide assurance, and design and deliver client projects. The role requires a strong understanding of various project methodologies and the ability to contribute to our practice approaches and collateral.

The post‑holder will be part of the growing Business Change practice reporting to the Head of Change Delivery. Your services will combine digital transformation, tangible innovation, emerging technologies, and project and programme management expertise to deliver sustainable value to public sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects end‑to‑end, ensuring delivery to agreed parameters of quality, time and cost.
  • Lead the development of the overall project approach, utilising project methodologies and techniques to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Understand high‑level technical and digital design and facilitate debate and decision‑making on appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure stakeholders and team members are engaged throughout, processes and timelines are agreed upon and communicated.
  • Ensure commercial viability and value delivery, considering impacts on existing services.
  • Manage stakeholders, maintain the pace for delivery and work with multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Foster collaboration across project and internal boundaries.
  • Manage plans, risks, issues, and dependencies with effective escalation, owning them until resolved.
  • Manage team dynamics, encourage collaboration and shared ownership, and handle conflict.
  • Actively manage change and governance for projects, considering cross‑project impacts.
  • Manage integration and coordination with other delivery teams and governance.
  • Track and manage project progress and budget, providing accurate reporting to senior project managers and governance boards.
  • Contribute to business development, extensions and further work opportunities.
  • Contribute to product and service development and evolution.
  • Support internal change projects and participate in Communities of Practice.
Ideal Candidates
  • Previous experience delivering projects in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in full project lifecycle and managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong knowledge of project methodologies:
    Prince2, Agile, Scrum, SDLC/Waterfall.
  • Specialist knowledge of digital and technology project management in large‑scale environments.
  • Ability to build successful delivery teams and understand team styles.
  • Ability to influence, motivate and nurture teams.
