Ab Initio Senior Developer – Backfill Role

We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Senior Developer with a minimum of 12+ years of hands‑on experience in designing and implementing data integration solutions using Ab Initio. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills to deliver complex ETL and real‑time processing solutions for global implementations.

• Design, develop, and implement ETL/API solutions using Ab Initio with a massively parallel processing architecture.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and efficient data solutions.
• Perform functional and non‑functional assessments for global data implementations.
• Design solutions considering recovery, resiliency, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure alignment with data governance and security standards.
• Manage and monitor workflows using Ab Initio GDE, Control Center, Plan‑It, and Conduct‑It.
• Work with Oracle/SQL to write complex queries for data transformation and analysis.
• Utilize Git or other version control tools to manage codebase and configurations.
• Participate in technical discussions and represent the development team in business and partner calls.

• Ab Initio (Batch and Real‑Time) development expertise.
• Strong knowledge of ETL design patterns and data warehouse architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Unix basics, and Shell scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Ab Initio GDE, Control Center, Plan‑It, and Conduct‑It.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, Data Governance, and Data Engineering practices.
• Exposure to Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Data Warehousing (DW) concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, risk and controls, and digital transformation initiatives.
