Synertex LLC is seeking a Business Analyst/Visualization Analyst to support a U.S. Federal Government Agency in McLean, VA. The role focuses on managing data retrieval and analysis, uncovering trends, and developing actionable insights. The analyst ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and directly engages with senior government clients to understand mission needs.
Location & Arrangement: Hybrid remote with on‑site requirements in McLean, VA or nearby; candidate must be within reasonable commutable distance.

Responsibilities- Lead cross‑functional teams in developing, documenting, and delivering process innovations.
- Work closely with business users, SMEs, external stakeholders, and internal teams to gather requirements, analyze processes, and devise solutions.
- Translate government client needs into data queries and visual dashboards.
- Facilitate workshops to identify business needs and requirements.
- Ensure data visualizations align with business objectives and support data‑driven government objectives.
- Oversee updates to project deliverables including requirements documentation, change control artifacts, and traceability matrices.
- Identify, evaluate, and document potential data sources in support of project requirements.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and efficiency.
- Manage high‑priority analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Advise senior government officials on data‑driven strategies.
- Transform complex data sets into actionable insights using Tableau dashboards.
- Interpret data within a business context and aid decision‑making.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports that illustrate insights for stakeholders.
- Determine information needs, database relationships, attributes, data flow, storage requirements, and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate with programmers and analysts to implement database management system changes.
- 2+ years of experience developing Tableau data visualization reports and dashboards.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, database design, quality evaluation, reporting, project management, UAT, training, and development.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with MS Excel.
- Experience with government acquisitions.
Mid‑Senior level.
