At Better we are building software solutions that help medical teams improve patient care. Our advanced open-data medical platform and healthcare applications already support over 30 million patients’ electronic health records worldwide, making data quality our number one priority.

This is where you come in. The Implementation & Project Architect will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the Better software solution suite and Digital Health platform projects. This role combines project management and solution architecture responsibilities with hands-on implementation and configuration of software solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and customers simultaneously, ensuring solutions are configured, deployed, and delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality and industry standards.

Skills and expertise you need to excel in this position:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management or solution architecture within healthcare IT or software development.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7 / FHIR, open

    EHR) and system integration practices.
  • Proven ability to lead full project life cycles, from planning and requirements gathering to implementation and delivery.
  • Solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure, Dev Ops, and configuration management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Skilled in translating business needs into technical solutions and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
  • Project management or architecture certifications (ex. PRINCE2, ITIL, SCRUM master) are an advantage.

How will you drive success in this role through your daily actions?:

  • Project Management: Lead full lifecycle delivery of healthcare software projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely, on-budget completion through effective coordination of cross-functional teams and resources.
    • Manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risks while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders via reports, updates, and presentations.
    • Gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications and user stories, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
    • Drive continuous improvement through post-project reviews, process enhancements, and contributions to project methodology and best practices.
  • Solution Architect: Support pre-sales and tender efforts by providing expertise on implementation strategies and services within the Digital Health space.
    • Set up and configure demo environments based on customer or sales requirements.
    • Deliver internal and external training and demonstrations.
  • Implementation Management: Interface with Dev Ops Team within the Headquarter. Support and take-over configurations to achieve fully functional setups based on the customers’ requirements.
    • Deploy and test environments at customer side.
    • Document configurations.
  • Stay current with healthcare IT standards and apply industry best practices to optimize project outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required to customer sites, conferences, and internal meetings, both nationally and internationally, to ensure successful project delivery and maintain strong client relationships.

What will you receive as a valued member of the Better team?

  • Full-time employment and other financial benefits: Enjoy a stable position with a range of benefits tailored to enhance your work experience.
  • Flexible work environment: Embrace a high degree of autonomy with flexible hours and work from home.
  • Home office with very good technical equipment.
  • Collaborative learning culture: Enjoy a non-hierarchical and supportive teamwork environment where knowledge sharing, critical thinking, and innovation are encouraged, allowing you to thrive.
  • Impactful healthcare transformations: Contribute to meaningful changes in the global healthcare landscape.
