SalaryBase pay range: $/yr - $/yr. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skill level.
PositionSenior Data Engineer — you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data systems and pipelines that support advanced AI/ML applications within a Navy IT command. This is a remote position reporting out of Charleston, SC or Norfolk, VA.
Position Duties- Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers and other technical teams to ensure the efficient and scalable processing of large volumes of data.
- Leverage best practices in data engineering to create robust, high-performance data architectures, enabling the effective deployment of machine learning models and supporting mission-critical defense operations.
- Maintain data quality, ensure compliance with security protocols, and streamline data workflows to meet the needs of the client’s IT systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one
- MUST BE A US CITIZEN to receive security clearance
- 10+ years of relevant experience; or Undergraduate degree and 7+ years of relevant experience; or Graduate degree and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Career development training
- 1+ advanced certification
- Experience with Jupiter and Marven Smart Systems
