The Role
Peraton Defense Mission and Global Health Sector seeks an experienced Program Manager for the DHA Web and Mobile program, under the Enterprise IT Services Integrator (EITSI) program. This role is located in the San Antonio, Texas area or remote work with customer approval.
This role will lead the team responsible for the development and implementation of the Defense Health Agency's web and mobile technology program, including establishing a software factory approach to web and mobile development.
The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of program performance, including achieving program operational objectives, achieving financial commitments, and the management of operational and financial risks. The program manager will identify, qualify and drive on-contract growth in alignment with customer requirements. The Program Manager leads the integration and coordination with the Government Program Manager, Program Management Office, technical subject matter experts, partners, and subcontractors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Understanding the Military Health System (MHS) and Defense Health Agency (DHA) mission, customer space, and information technology operating environment to act as a trusted advisor through the development and implementation of a multi-sourcing service integration (MSI) environment.
- Understanding the broader context of military health, including relationships with DoD, DMDC, and the VA.
- Managing the design and implementation of an agile software factory approach to web and mobile technology.
- Supporting the development of a user-centric web and mobile infrastructure to support the broader military health community, including design, testing, deployment, support and sustainment.
- Support ITIL 4 standard processes and procedures and working across the J6 and DHA stakeholder community.
- Supporting the organizational change initiatives required to drive user and developer adoption of the DHA web and mobile strategy.
- Driving on-contract growth and identifying new growth opportunities.
- Engage with a wide range of customers at the enterprise level to strategically align the demand for new technical capabilities and the services provided in the ecosystem.
- Ensure that all programmatic level responsibilities (e. g., staffing, programmatic deliverables, monthly reporting, ad hoc requests, etc.) are completed in a timely, accurate, and quality manner.
- Managing team and individual performance; identify, resolve, and monitor customer escalations as appropriate.
- Establish and manage relationships with customer subject matter experts and appropriate customer management, with an objective of maintaining and building the business.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of experience, may have management experience
- Clearance Requirement:
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance (ADP II Public Trust) - Total of 10 years of progressive experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Must be a US Citizen
